Cappadocia - Nevşehir

Although originally affiliated with Nevşehir, the Cappadocia Region, which also includes the cities of Kırşehir, Niğde, Aksaray and Kayseri, is a soft soil layer formed by ash and lava erupted from Erciyes Mountain, Hasan Mountain and Güllü Mountain 60 million years ago, wind and It is a region with a unique beauty, formed due to natural erosion by rains.  Cappadocia Region, in addition to its natural beauties, is considered one of the most important touristic regions in Turkey. There are many activities you can do here. To list:

  • As a classic, you can join balloon tours and enjoy the unique view of Cappadocia at sunrise. Yes, you heard right, it is highly recommended to join the tour at sunrise. The best time to see the view where thousands of balloons take off at once and the unique natural beauty is sunrise. Even if you don't get on one of those balloons, it will be a very pleasant experience to wake up early in the day and watch this view from your hotel.

  • You should see the underground cities. The region, where life began in the Paleolithic Age, became the settlement of the Hittites over time, and later became one of the important centers of Christianity. As this important center faced attacks and looting many times, the local people found a solution by building underground villages under their own villages. They created these underground cities as an example of downward urbanization, as opposed to today's transverse or upward urbanization. It is estimated that there are approximately 120-150 unearthed underground cities in the region.

  • You can attend a pottery making workshop in Avanos. There are a significant number of pottery workshops in the region, known as places where pottery is made by shaping the soil. It is free to attend these workshops and experience the enjoyable event, anyone who wishes can join and try making their own pots and pans.

Apart from all these, you can go on a safari with ATVs in the Göreme region, take a gondola tour in Kızılırmak, taste wine in historical wine houses and learn the stages of wine production. Don't forget to watch the sunset in Kızılçukur Valley.

Ölüdeniz - Muğla (Fethiye)

Ölüdeniz, a town in the Fethiye district of Muğla, is among the must-see places in Turkey, first with its unique beach and magnificent sea, and then with its other natural beauties.

The sea of this town, named Ölüdeniz due to the stagnation of its water, was chosen as the best sea in the world with 82% of the votes in 2006. Since the region was home to the Lycian Civilization thousands of years ago, many historical ruins have been found over time and continue to be found.

  • You can go to Butterfly Valley and enjoy the dance of butterflies in harmony with nature in this natural wonder, which is home to approximately 80 species of butterflies.

  • You can go to Ölüdeniz Beach and surrender yourself to the tranquility of the still waters and relax on the fine sand.

  • You can take a long mountain walk on the Lycian Way. This mountain road, which starts from Muğla and continues to Antalya, promises you a wonderful trekking experience.
